Junior Backend Engineer with NodeJS

We have several startup projects where a motivated junior could join, be mentored and coached properly, learn and grow her/his skills in writing clean code (according to the best engineering standards) which helps thousands of users.
​
As an engineer you will be personally mentored by one of our Seniors and be part of an agile team with other engineers, product owner, delivery lead and QA.

Requirements

Good JavaScript and TypeScript knowledge

Good NodeJS knowledge
-
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling

REST API experience
-
Basic understanding and experience using SQL and No-SQL databases

Superb teamwork skills
-
Good communication skills

Bonus points

Understanding of scalability and performance aspects of web based systems

Would be advantageous to able to present a portfolio of university / academy projects in Backend development (could be any other technology)

Basic knowledge of the services of any of the major clouds: AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, Heroku

Experience in setting up CI/CD for NodeJS

Experience working in agile setup

Knowledge and skills in functional programming

Knowledge in other back-end development environments – Ruby on Rails, Python, Go, or anything else really
