AI Engineer – RAG Framework & LLM Integration

Looming Tech is a technology services company delivering cutting-edge software solutions for global clients. We are looking for 2 AI Engineers to join our team and work with a leading UK-based tech media company on integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework.

 

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI solutions leveraging LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, VertexAI, Gemini, Azure OpenAI).

• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines for information retrieval and response generation.

• Build APIs and microservices for AI-powered applications using Python and FastAPI.

• Work closely with cloud environments (AWS, AWS Bedrock) to deploy and maintain AI services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, DevOps) to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities.

• Research and prototype advanced techniques in prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector search.

 

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer or similar role.

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Experience in building RAG-based architectures for search, chatbots, or document intelligence.

• Familiarity with cloud services, ideally AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, S3, SageMaker).

• Practical experience with at least one major LLM (Claude, OpenAI GPT, Gemini, Azure OpenAI).

• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and embeddings.

• Understanding of REST API development with FastAPI or similar.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

 

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Anthropic Claude

• Background in NLP, semantic search, or knowledge graphs.

• Familiarity with MLOps practices and CI/CD for ML workflows.
