We built the digital platform for Blue Gates, an EU cross-border cooperation programme empowering the blue and smart transformation of the Black Sea basin. The project unites partners across Bulgaria, Romania, Türkiye, and Ukraine around sectors spanning maritime transport and logistics, coastal and maritime tourism, fishing and aquaculture, and underwater cultural heritage. The brief demanded a genuinely multi-country, multi-language platform: content is filterable by partner country and served in the languages of the participating nations, with each partner organisation maintaining its own profile. We delivered this on a decoupled architecture — a Next.js front-end on Vercel for speed and SEO, backed by a Strapi headless CMS on Railway that gives non-technical programme staff across four countries a single place to manage localised content, partner profiles, goals, and media.
- Four partner countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Türkiye, Ukraine
