Looming Tech are proud to support this summer’s John o’Groats to Land’s End 900-mile relay run in support of the Licensed Trade Charity. In collaboration with one of our favourite clients, Avani Solution, LT Co-Founder David Bone will be running the final four relay legs (almost 150 miles) alongside many other UK and overseas ultrarunners.
The Licensed Trade Charity provides essential assistance to individuals across the UK drinks and hospitality sector, both past and present. Their reach extends to those within pubs, bars, and breweries, as well as distilleries and wineries. With a heritage stretching back to the 1700s, this organisation remains a dedicated registered charity for the trade.
Each day the runners will pass through many of the UK pubs that will act as stops and community hubs along the way.
Nearer the start date (July 13th) we will be able to share a tracker so that you can come along and support, or get involved in the virtual project which is in partnership with Strava.
The campaign aims to raise £250,000 to help LTC continue supporting people working in licensed hospitality.

The charity describes the project as more than a running challenge. It’s intended to promote physical and mental wellbeing, celebrate the role of pubs in local communities, and raise awareness of the support LTC provides to hospitality workers.
